Frequently Asked

Questions, answered.

Is the initial consultation really free?
Yes — completely. The first 30-minute conversation is on us. We'll listen to your situation, ask honest questions, and tell you what we think. If we're not the right fit, we'll often refer you to someone who is.
Do you work with clients outside of Atlanta?
Absolutely. While we're proudly Atlanta-based, most of our work is done through secure document portals, video calls, and remote-friendly workflows. We currently serve clients across the Southeast and beyond. If you're in a state with unusual tax rules, we'll be upfront about whether we're the right fit.
How do you charge — hourly or flat-fee?
Flat-fee whenever possible. We believe surprise invoices erode trust, so we'll send you a clear written proposal with fixed pricing before any work begins. Hourly billing only applies in genuinely unpredictable situations (like complex IRS resolution cases), and we'll always tell you in advance.
I haven't filed taxes in several years. Can you help?
Yes. Back tax filings are a routine part of our IRS resolution work — we'll prepare the missing returns, communicate with the IRS on your behalf, and negotiate payment plans or penalty abatements where applicable. The sooner you reach out, the more options we have.
What's the right time to start working with you?
The honest answer: as early as possible. Most of the biggest tax-saving strategies require planning months — sometimes years — in advance. That said, we work with clients at every stage, including last-minute April filings. Whenever you reach out, we'll meet you where you are.
Do you only work with real estate investors and small businesses?
Those are our specialties, and most of our clients fall into one or both categories. But we also prepare standard individual returns and work with high-earning W-2 employees, equity-compensated tech employees, and retirees with complex investment portfolios. If your situation is unusual, just ask.
